Is there a LinkedIn plugin for ChatGPT?
Yes. ChatGPT calls them plugins, and Iridium works as a custom one. Add its URL once, and ChatGPT can sort your inbox, handle connection requests, find people and schedule actions through your own LinkedIn. ChatGPT drafts, you approve, and nothing sends without your approval.
Iridium is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation or Microsoft. See the terms.
Why ChatGPT needs Developer mode
Custom plugins sit behind Developer mode, which needs a paid ChatGPT plan. Iridium is a custom plugin, so you add it by URL.
How do I add Iridium to ChatGPT?
Connect LinkedIn first (Step 1). Then:
- Turn on Developer mode under Settings, then Connectors, then Advanced.
- Open Plugins, then Browse plugins, and click +.
- Name it Iridium and paste
https://api.iridiumhqmcp.com/mcpinto Connection. - Set Authentication to OAuth, tick "I understand and want to continue", and create it.
- ChatGPT sends you to Iridium. Sign in and click Allow.
Why does ChatGPT say OpenAI has not reviewed this server?
ChatGPT shows this for any custom plugin. It means OpenAI hasn't vetted the server, not that something is wrong. Check that the URL is api.iridiumhqmcp.com, and read what Iridium can access on security and data.
What should I try first?
- "Use Iridium to list my pending LinkedIn connection requests and group them by who's worth accepting."
- "Use Iridium to find who replied to my last message and hasn't heard back."
What if Iridium doesn't appear?
Check that Developer mode is on and that your plan includes it. If it still doesn't show, email [email protected].
